La Feniere, a lovely stone-built
house, is situated at the foot of the pretty, medieval “perched”
village of Seillans, nestling among the olive groves and vineyards
of the Provencal countryside. It is just 20 minutes from Lac St
Cassien, with its small boats and pedalos, 35 minutes from the famous
town of Cannes and only one hour from Nice. There are many activities
available in the region including dining in one of the superb restaurants,
wine tasting, olive tasting, shopping at French towns and markets,
and sunbathing and water sports by the Mediterranean. Picasso's
works can be viewed in museums in Antibes and Nice, and the perfume
houses of Grasse offer tours where visitors can see the perfumes
being created.
